We hope to develop new programs and/or improve current programs for animal welfare in Anderson County Tennessee. We also hope to help educate our community concerning requirements and responsibilities of animal ownership. Our ultimate goal is to create a new, state-of-the-art animal adoption center for Anderson County.

AC ARF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization. Funding is provided by member contributions, donations from the general public and corporations, and grants from government and other non-profit organizations. Donations are tax-deductible.

AC ARF is an all-volunteer group, having no paid staff. Please reach out to us to get involved! You may use the Contact section on this page.

What We Do

ADOPTION EVENT SUPPORT

Promote and publicize adoption events by word-of-mouth and through social and other media. Help with the logistics of providing adoption events and participating in them.

FUNDRAISING FOR A NEW ADOPTION CENTER

Provide a safe environment for unwanted, stray, abused or abandoned animals, with the goal of finding loving “forever” homes for homeless animals.

FOSTER CARE OUTREACH

Recruit and assist those able and willing to provide foster care for homeless animals of all ages. Fostering provides the critical bridge between rescue agencies and a permanent loving home for animals.

TRANSPORT FACILITATION

TBD.
